The artworks in “…and turn into a single scream” speak of massive barriers against living one’s life; of painful memories and tainted rights; of war games that end in mourning; of the power of words to recall, to warn, of the writing on the wall. Women in these works join their voices in a cry of pain and protest at their bodies’ violation, at the incessant harm inflicted upon the innocent, while voicing their desires to return to the act of healing.
